      Congratulations to Beth Lamay, Jackie Young, Kim Velasco and Amy Hagan the Front 9 winners and also to Sheila Fallon, Tracy Noble, Ami Longstreet and Heather Mitchell the Back 9 winners of our Ladies 9-Hole Member-Guest! Thank you to Wendy Thomas and Lee Pomeroy for their hard work on the "Breakfast at Tiffany's" themed Member Guest. We had 67 ladies participate in this event! Great Job!       Here are the results for the Ladies Invitational. As you will see our members played very well. Mary Ryan and Carrie Baptiste tied for first. The team of Colleen Vella and Terri Weller were one shot back. Thanks to all who played.

      The 2016 Men's Member Guest is now in the record books. A lot of changes, a lot of new faces and some luck with the weather made for a very exciting event. The father son team of Charlie Fountain and Geoff Fountain claimed the title of Member Guest Champions with their victory in our 9 team shoot-out.       Over the past two days Mark has been competing in the CNY PGA Senior Section Championship at Corning Country Club. Mark shot scores of 67-69 (-4) to win by 1 stroke. This qualified Mark for the Senior PGA Professional National Championship which will be at the PGA Golf Club in Port St. Lucie, Florida November 17-20th. Congratulations on defending your title pro!

      Cazenovia CC Junior Golf School

      We will offer a 2 day Junior Golf School on Monday, July 11 and Tuesday, July 12 from 9:00- 12:00. The schools will be for all levels of ability. We will have 2 hours of instruction on the range and practice green followed by on course instruction for the final hour each day   Mike Berger, Marion Blaine, Trevor Hash and myself will be the instructors for these 3 hour sessions. The cost for this instruction will be $25 per day.   Please call the Golf Shop to sign up for this school.

      Cazenovia Junior Golf League

      The Junior golf League will be open to all Junior golfers who have the ability to play 9 holes of golf unaccompanied by an adult. The junior golfer should be knowledgeable with golf etiquette. We will meet each day at 8:20 and play captain and mate most weeks but will not be limited to this format. Each player should call the Golf Shop the day before to inform us that they will be playing the next day.

      • Wednesday, July 20
      • Monday, August 1
      • Wednesday, August 10     Junior Member - Member / Member - Guest
      • August 16 and 17   Jerry Moore Junior Club Championship (Age Division determines the number of holes played)

      Gentlemen the Men's Member Member is only a few weeks away. The sign up board is up so call to reserve your tee time. This 27 hole event features 3, 9 hole formats. There will be optional skins game, scratch pool and calcutta. This is a net event so you must have a USGA handicap before June 4 to be eligible to play.

      Gentlemen,
      The 1st tournament of the year is 2 weeks away. The Men's Opener is scheduled for a 9:00 shotgun start on May 1st. The fee is $50 per person which includes Golf (no greens fees for guests, carts, lunch and prizes. Coffee and donuts will be available but please note this is not a continental breakfast
